דיבור, הוא הדרך המקובלת ביותר בה אנשים יוצרים קשר ביניהם. 

מילים, הן יצירה של אותיות מצורפות.

בכל אות קסם אחר.

ב-נ׳, הנתינה, ה-ל׳ הגבוהה ברוח נוגעת, ה-ע׳, מלמדת על אינטימיות וכך לכל אות משמעות משלה.

אפשר אמנם להבין מכך שעדיף לשתוק מלדבר אבל אני חושבת שכוונת החכמים היתה להראות לנו כמה רב הוא כוחה של המילה וכמה עדיף לחשוב לפני שמדברים. 

  

"אִסְתְרָא בִלְגינָא קיש קיש קָרְיָא", הוא פתגם בארמית שאומר כי מטבע יחיד בקנקן, מרעיש ומקשקש כמו שק מטבעות.

ביטוי זה מתייחס לאדם המרבה בדיבור, לעומת עשייה מעטה.

זריקת מילים באוויר ללא מחשבה או כוונה, משולה לכתיבה על הקרח.

אנו יוצקים אל תוך המילים רגש ומשמעות, והטעם שנשאר לנו בפה, חמוץ או מתוק משתנה עם בחירת מילים וטונציה.

כמובן, שיש כאלה בדרכנו, שהמילים יקרות מהם וששתיקה אומרת את הכל.

האם רצון כלשהו בדבר מה, עוזר להמציא תנאים מתאימים לזימונו אל תוך חיינו?

האם מוכנות למשהו ממציאה רצונות?

יש בדיקות מוכנות אחת לכמה זמן?

גיל כרונולוגי הוא גם מדד?

חשיבות עליונה בעניי, למקום הנכון, כשהזמן נכון בו והאנרגיה מדוייקת בנו, על מנת לזמן אל חיינו את השיעור המאיר והמעיר.

מורים רבים מקיפים אותנו מכל עבר,מכירים את המשפט ״מכל מלמדיי השכלתי?״

החיים כל כך דינמיים ומלאי תהפוכות,כל רגע מביא עימו גלים חדשים,גולשים נוספים ורוחות שלא מפסיקות לשנות את הזרימה.

עם התפתחות התקשורת בעולם החדש, צורות חשיבה שהיו מוכרות בעבר רק ל״יודעי הדבר ״ היום ,נגישות לכל .

ארועים מתרחשים בעקבות תדרים שהמוח שלנו משדר אל היקום ומספר לו על תשוקותינו האמיתיות וכשאלה מלאות בעוצמה הוא עוזר לנו וליקום להמציא את הדרך להשגתם.

השינויים התכופים בעולם גורמים לתנועות ברוח הרצונות ,לעיתים ברור לנו כשמש דבר מה והנה הפך הוא לירח.

משקפיי ראיית המציאות שלנו, הן העדשות והן המסגרת משתנים מאדם ,לאדם ,מרגע ,לרגע ומשפיעים על זויות ההסתכלות באופן דיי תכוף.

כל רגע נתון מביא עימו חידוש, מה שאתמול היה מדוייק עבורנו בחיוך ומעבר ,מחר מחרתיים יאבד את הקשר.

בנו הכח להתפלל ,לשמירה על הקיים ולשינוי.

בחירת מילים מניעות ונכונות לנו היא חלק הכרחי.

יחד עם זאת ,לעיתים ,אוחזת בנו תפילה עוצמתית ,מטלטלת ומוחלטת בדבר מה.

הזמן עובר , התפאורה משתנה ומה שרצינו כל כך באותם רגעים נתונים לא נכון לנו יותר.

אך מה עושים כששערי השמיים נפתחים כשהזרימה כבר השתנתה...

Symbols 

Symbols are fascinating. They are connected to my personal life and activity. What is most interesting is how individual societies can view the same exact symbols in very different ways. 

What is a symbol? A symbol represents an idea. It is an item that holds a deeper meaning beyond the surface. It is recognized among cultures, religions, particular societies or individuals.

Just as objects have their own unique characteristics and symbolism, the people in our lives can also act as very powerful symbols. We are all mirrors and teachers in each other’s lives. Some people represent characteristics that we do want to emulate, other people represent the traits that we don’t want to develop. If we spend our time with people in the “do” category, we are more likely to cultivate those positive characteristics.

Similarly, if we surround ourselves with objects that symbolize the things we want to attract into our lives, we are more likely to manifest those desires. We each give strength and meaning to the objects in our lives. For example, I have a lucky shirt that I always wear to job interviews, a lucky coin that I keep in my wallet for material blessings, and here is my entertainment ring, which makes me happy and raises my spirits.

I can also think about our superstitions. Is a black cat indeed a bad sign? Some say it is better not to look through a broken window, it is better to enter the house with the right leg etc., but who actually decides?

It is interesting to ponder the fact that sometimes a symbol's meaning can vary from culture to culture. For example the owl is a symbol of wisdom in ancient Greece but it is a bad omen according to the Native American Navajo tribes. Who is “right”? Maybe the belief itself gives power and meaning to all of these things. If you truly believe in a lucky charm or a superstition, your thoughts can actually help you manifest good or bad luck.

It is also interesting to consider religious symbols. The six-pointed “Star of David” has appeared at different times in various cultures, but only in recent centuries did it become widely known as a Jewish symbol. The cross was a meaningful symbol in other religions before it became associated with Christianity. The Hamsa, which was  originally for protection against the evil eye and according to Islamic tradition, is also known as the hand of Fatima, so named to commemorate Muhammad's daughter Fatima Zahra. Levantine Christians call it the hand of Mary, for the Virgin Mary. Jews refer to it as the hand of Miriam in remembrance of the biblical prophetess, sister of Moses and Aaron.

Another fascinating example is the symbol of the swastika. The earliest archaeological evidence of swastika-shaped ornaments dates back to the Indus Valley Civilization as well as the Mediterranean Classical Antiquity and Paleolithic Europe. Swastikas have also been used in various other ancient civilizations around the world including Turkey, India, Iran, Nepal, China, Japan, Korea and Europe. It remains widely used in Indian religions, specifically in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism, primarily as a tantric symbol to evoke Shakti, or the sacred symbol of auspiciousness. As we all know, the Nazi Party of Germany adopted the swastika in 1920, as a symbol of the Aryan race.

Interesting – isn't it? Many images that look the same from the outside, can have very different meanings on the inside, depending on the energy that humans assign to it.

And what about the zodiac? I am a Libra – what does it mean and what does it say about me? We can think about our own horizon, about the stars and sun, which we see – but is there something absolute?

The personification of my coins- my jewelry gives human qualities to each and every coin, and connects with the symbols on the currency. In this way, humans can connect with the energy of the object in a deeper way. To me, this is more than just attractive jewelry, this is jewelry that can actually help you attract certain energies by connecting with symbols.

I once met a beautiful woman—sharp, energetic, and only 89 and a half years old. I asked her “ What is the secret to health, happiness and longevity?” She replied with a smile, as if revealing a secret, "Good genes and good luck."

There may not be too much we can do about genes—we just work with what we’ve got! But as for fortune, abundance, and luck, I believe that we can increase our ability to attract more goodness into our lives. We are like energy magnets… Find the true value and deeper meaning in everything around you, and let this awareness attract even more greatness into your life.

וכן חיינו קצובים בעולם הזה לכך וכך שנים, אי אפשר לקנות זמן וערכו לא יסולא מפז. 

ועוד שאלות ממשיכות לקפץ, מה הסיפור עם האנרגיה והאם היא מוגבלת?

אז אני ממשיכה ולומדת שאנרגיה היא גודל פיזיקלי סקלרי, שמציין את כמות העבודה היכולה להיעשות על ידי כוח וגם שאיננה מוגבלת,האנרגיה הינה אינסופית ומשנה את פניה ללא הרף.

עובדה מחייכת היא, כי חוק שימור האנרגיה קובע שאנרגיה לא נוצרת ולא נעלמת, היא משנה את צורתה, מסוג אנרגיה אחד לסוג אחר.

מאגרי אנרגיה רבים זמינים והלמידה עלינו, מאיפה וכיצד נחדש את כוחותינו,מתי נעצור להרגע, איך ננשום עמוק לרווחה, על מה נתעכב ולכמה זמן ..ולא פחות חשוב מתי נשחרר ומתי נמשיך הלאה.

המצאת סדר חשיבות נכון ובריא של פיזור האנרגיה הינו הכרחי,יחד עם הסדר נוכל לממש את פוטנציאל היכולת שלנו למלא, להתמלא ולאפשר לעצמנו להתנהל בצורה פרודקטיבית יותר.

בילדותי, אני זוכרת את הספר ״ על כל שאלה תשובה״ ספר שחיכה לי בסופי השבוע בבית, במושב אצל סבא וסבתא .. כל כך הרבה שאלות היו לי שלא תמיד מצאתי את תשובתם בספר, וגם אם כן נמצאה ,היתה זו לאחר חיפושים נרחבים.

היום , ככל שאני יודעת יותר ,אני מודעת לעובדה שהידע שלי הוא רק כמה טיפות באוקיינוס הגדול, של הידע הידוע שקיים.

מדהים כמה מהר התרגלתי לכך שתשובות לשאלות אני פשוט מקבלת עם כמה לחיצות על מסך כזה או אחר, ויקיפדיה וגוגל ספקי האינפורמציה שעדיין בעניי בלתי נתפסים, לא צריך לעבוד קשה מידי כדי לדעת, רק צריך באמת לרצות.

Giving and the Fourth Chakra

Chakras are energy centers that many different cultures believe are connected to our physical and spiritual bodies. When we are in balance, these chakras are healthy and open, but when we succumb to fear and negative thought forms, the chakras can slow down or become blocked.

Each of these spinning vortexes of energy relates to a different aspect of our lives. The Fourth Chakra, also known as The Heart Chakra, is connected to our experience of love and giving.  Here we touch each other emotionally and give and receive absolute, pure, egoless love.

The “Law of Giving and Receiving” is described beautifully in Deepak Chopra’s book, “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success.” Although it is only the second law in the book, in my opinion it is one of the most important ones, so I’ve decided to discuss it.

Every relationship is based on give and take. Giving motivates receiving and receiving motivates giving. According to the law described in Chopra’s book, receiving and giving are identical. Although they are different aspects of the same energy flow, if we interrupt one of them we disturb the flow, wisdom, and perfection of the Universe.

The more you give the more you will receive. The Universe has the capacity to respond to your generosity accordingly, and allow abundance to flow into your life constantly. Eventually, everything that matters in your life will become stronger by giving it away.

Judaism is also very sensitive to the delicate dynamic between giving and receiving. The word “Tsdaka,” which means charity, is an expression the bible uses as giving to the poor. But the word can also be understood as “tsedek” which means justice. This implies that balance and fairness is the Universe’s automatic response to generosity. As Hazal says, “Through the way you measure—you are measured.”

I’ve seen this law at work in my own life. The funny thing is, when I first began traveling the world, I filled my wallet with Israeli coins and gave them away to people who made me smile along my journey. I would give them each a blessing and tell them to keep this lucky coin from the Holy Land in their wallet. I explained to them that the energy of the coin was especially powerful because it had a menorah on it. Little did I know that many years later I would fall deeply in love with coins and create much more out of them. In a way, the coins gave back to me and I realized they were more than just currency—they were the beholders of powerful energy and they had the potential to bring joy and beauty to the world in a new way.

Every day I feel the power of my task as more and more coins come my way. Generous people from all over the world give me coins. Sometimes they are passed hand to hand, and other times they are mailed to me from all sorts of places. Each time I am grateful and I remember the countless people that received my own coin offerings on my travels years ago.

I feel blessed by the energy that is flowing through my life; these exchanges with other people make me feel rich in many ways. I want to share stories of my own growth through practicing the law of giving and receiving.

The best demonstration is the human hand; when it is open to give it is also open to receive! One of my own designs that makes me smile more than all the others is the “Hamsa.” It is a mold of my own hand, created from a copy machine! The coin in the middle of the necklace varies, but the Hamsa is always the same and it represents my own journey on the path of giving and receiving.

Kahlil Gibran’s poem, titled “On Giving,” offers a beautiful reflection on this concept. I find the following excerpt especially meaningful:

            Giving
 

You give but little when you give of your possessions.

It is when you give of yourself that you truly give...

And what is fear of need but need itself?

Is not dread of thirst when your well is full, the thirst that is unquenchable?...

All you have shall some day be given...

Therefore give now, that the season of giving may be yours and not your inheritors'.

Generosity is not limited to the giving of money. You can give kindness, compassion, hospitality, nourishment, and of course the greatest gift of all—love. Giving is the essence of life, and by giving we leave our mark on the Universe. 

There is a reason that I opened the article with the fourth chakra that connects the three chakras superiority the chakras above it. This chakra is the core of the entire chakra system, just as giving is the center of life. We are who we are right. We are who we are because of giving, and thanks to giving we leave our mark on the world.

I have taken it upon myself to bless as many people as I can to improve life. This is my life’s quest and my Hamsa reminds me of this intention.

*על אותו המשקל אמונות תפלות בחיינו , חתול שחור זה מזל רע- האמנם? , על מראה שבורה אסור להסתכל , כניסה לבית ברגל ימין וכדומה מי קבע ואיפה?. מעניין מאוד גם, שמשמעותם של הסמלים משתנה מתרבות לתרבות לדוגמא אצל היוונים ינשוף הוא סמל לחכמה ואילו אצל הילידים האינדיאנים משבט ה״נבאהו״ הוא סימן המבשר רעה, מי צודק?

 *סמלים בדתות- מגן דוד שעד ימיי הבניים הופיע בתקופות שונות בתרבויות שונות והמשיך כסימן יהודי מובהק,צלב שמזוהה עם הנצרות רק מהמאה ה-2 וקודם לכן בדתות ותרבויות רבות ושונות , חמסה כהגנה מפני עין הרע, על פי המסורת המוסלמית זו היד של פאטמה בתו של הנביא מוחמד וביהדות זוהי ידה של מרים אחות משה,צלב הקרס סוואסטיקה על פי המסורת ההינדית מסמל מזל טוב והצלחה ואילו ממלחמת העולם השנייה הפך הוא סמל לנאציזם ולגזענות, מעניין לא?

* גלגלי מזלות למינהן , הרגיל , הסיני.. בסיני אני מזל קוף , כל ילידי אותה השנה דומים בהכרח?ברגיל,אני מזל מאזניים מה זה אומר עלי..? אם נתעמק יש את אופק שלנו, מצב הכוכבים והשמש במקום שבו נולדנו- יש מוחלט..?

לגבי הגנים אולי אין יותר מידי מה לעשות אבל לגבי המזל יש ויש כאן נכנסים המטבעות שלי בשינוי צורה ושינויים מלאים בתמורה ;)

נְתִינָה והצ'קרה הרביעית

הצ'אקרות הן מרכזי אנרגיה דרכם אנחנו מתאזנים אנרגטית. הצ'אקרה הרביעית, צ'אקרת הלב מטפלת בתחום האהבה והנתינה. בזכות צ'אקרה זו אנחנו מסוגלים להתקשר אל האחר, לגעת בו רגשית, לתת ולקבל אהבה מוחלטת – אהבה טהורה ללא אגו.
החוק השני המוזכר בספר שבעת החוקים להצלחה של ד"ר דיפאק צ׳ופרה הוא חוק הנתינה והקבלה. זהו אומנם החוק השני בספר אך בעיניי הוא החוק החשוב ביותר ולכן בחרתי להתייחס אליו.

כל מערכת יחסים בנויה על תן וקח. נתינה מחוללת קבלה, וקבלה מחוללת נתינה. לפי חוק הנתינה, זהה בעצם הנתינה לקבלה, מפני שנתינה וקבלה הן היבטים שונים של זרם האנרגיה ביקום. ואם קוטעים את זרימתה של אחת מהן, מפריעים לתבונתו של הטבע.

ככל שתרבו לתת – כן תרבו לקבל, מפני שכך תוודאו כי שפע היקום יזרום בלי הרף בחייכם. למעשה, כל דבר בעל ערך בחיים רק מתרבה כשנותנים אותו.

ההמחשה הכי טובה היא היד , דמיינו יד הפתוחה לרווחה. באותה המידה שהיד יכולה לתת יכולה היא גם לקבל וברוב הפעמים הרבה יותר.

גם היהדות  רגישה מאוד לדינמיקה העדינה שבין התורמים ובין מקבלי הסיוע. המילה צדקה – היא המונח בו משתמשים בתורה למושג הנתינה לנזקק – יכולה להתפרש גם במובן של "צדק". וכוונתה של צדקה היא בעצם נתינה. וצדקה היא לא בהכרח כסף אלא יכולה גם ללבוש צורות אחרות לגמרי של נתינה.

חז"ל אומרים: "במידה שהאדם מודד - בה מודדים לו" -  האדם מקבל במידה שבה הוא נותן לאחרים.

המצחיק הוא שעם תחילת השוטטות העולמית שלי, הייתי מציידת את עצמי בנרתיק מלא בעודף מארץ ישראל, אגורות על כל גוונם, חצאי שקלים ,שקלים ומחלקת אותם לאנשים שחייכו אלי בדרכי עם ברכה מארץ הקודש ..והוראה לשמירה בארנק. מי לא רוצה שיברכו אותו ועוד ברכה מהקודש ואם יש מנורה על המטבע אז בכלל...

צחוק הגורל ששנים רבות לאחר תחילת התנועה שלי התאהבתי כליל במטבעות ומין שמש מחייכת נצמדה אליהם פתאום וגרמה לי לראות בהם כל כך הרבה מעבר...!

עם העשייה שלי היום אני רואה זאת יום, יום. כל כך הרבה מטבעות מכל העולם נשלחים אלי בין אם זה פיזית ,מיד ליד , דרך אנשים בתנועה או בדואר.

אני מרגישה מבורכת מעצם חילופי האנרגיה הרבים שבחיי המעשירים אותי עד מאוד.

לא סתם זו הצ'אקרה הרביעית בה פתחתי מאמר אשר מחברת ומקשרת בין שלושת הצ'אקרות התחתונות לעליונות ומתוך כך היא מהווה את ליבה של מערכת הצ'אקרות כולה. הנתינה היא מרכז החיים – בזכותה אנחנו מי שאנחנו. ובזכותה אנחנו משאירים את חותמנו בעולם הזה.

לקחתי על עצמי בחיי לברך כמה שיותר אנשים לחיים יותר טובים והחמסה שלי מזכירה לי את זאת הכוונה.

הרהורי ליבי וקצת עלי

הכל צפוי והרשות נתונה; האמנם?
אם הכל צפוי הכיצד הרשות אכן נתונה?
כל כך הרבה סתירות בעולמנו.
האמנם אדם אדון לגורלו הוא ? למזלו? או שיש אי שם למעלה מי שקורא לסדר כתוב? אלוהים שלי הוא האלוהים שלך? מי זה האלוהים ומהו מקום מושבו?

במסעותיי הרבים ברחבי התבל אני זוכה להכיר מדינות רבות השונות בתכלית השוני אחת מרעותה, כל מדינה בצבע אחר,עם תרבות שונה, אנשים בתיבלון מייחד ודתות כאלה ואחרות אשר שולטות במקום.
יחס ישיר אל המסעות גורם לי לאתגר את עצמי כל פעם מחדש, לעמידה בלא מעט צמתים בחיי, סקרנות ושאלות עצמיות כגון: מהי הפנייה הנכונה לי ביותר , המטרה , השיקולים ואיך אפתיע את עצמי לטובה.
את הביטחון שלי אני שואבת ממנטרות שאני משננת לי, הראשונה בהן היא למגנט אנשים טובים בדרכי. למשוך אותם אלי.

השנייה היא בקשה לאבוקה בוערת שתאיר את דרכי. ואם לעתים הדרך לא ברורה לי - לפחות שתהיה מוארת.
השלישית בהן היא לדעת לקרוא את הסימנים שבדרך. היקום שולח לנו כל הזמן סימנים – ואני מנסה להיות מספיק רגישה על מנת לקרוא ולהבין אותם.
משהו שהצלחתי ללמוד בעצמי, הוא שאין מוחלט וכלום לא ברור מאליו. לעתים הסימנים מראים חיבורים שלמראית עין מוחלטים ובסופו של עניין מתגלים כנפרדים לגמרי.
אל תכשיטי המטבעות שלי הגעתי ב-2009 אחרי תפילות רבות. אלוהים שלי, הקוסמוס והקרובים אלי יודעים כמה ניסויים ותהיות היו מנת חלקי.

-- בידיי שלי חתרתי עד קו החוף, לא פעם כמעט וטבעתי אך לא ויתרתי . פאולו קואלו כתב: " כשאדם באמת רוצה משהו, היקום כולו נחלץ לעזרתו כדי שיגשים את חלומו". כנראה שזה היה חלומי הכמוס – לעסוק עם מטבעות ולהפוך אותם לתכשיטים . והיקום נחלץ לעזרתי.
כמעט כל תחום שנגעתי בו הלהיב אותי אך לזמן קצוב ביותר עד שהתאהבתי בעיגולים האלה, הם עם העיטורים עליהם. מאז נטבעו המטבעות הראשונים על ידי מלך לידיה בסביבות שנת 640 לפנה"ס, כמה שירים נכתבו עליהם. ר' ישראל מסלאנט כתב: "כוח ראייתו של אדם - למרחקים, ברם כל מטבע קטנה מסתירה בפניו". מה רב כוחם של עיגולי המתכת הללו...
אפשר לסחור בהם ואיתם, ערכם משתנה מרגע לרגע, מלאים הם בסיפורים אינסופיים ,כמעט על כל נושא שקיים בעולם הזה, משלבים היסטוריה מדינית ,חלומות אנושיים, נופים , בעלי חיים

הפילוסוף היווני הרקליטוס אמר שאדם אינו נכנס לאותו הנהר פעמיים. כיוון שבכניסתו השנייה למים, כבר השתנה הנהר: אלו אולי מים דומים למים שהיו בכניסה הראשונה, אך לא אותן טיפות המים בדיוק. וכן גם האדם השתנה: הוא מאוד דומה לאדם שנכנס בפעם הראשונה, אך משהו השתנה בגופו ומשהו השתנה בנפשו . כך אני כאשר אני מסתכלת על המטבעות – כל פעם אני רואה בהם משהו חדש ומשהו שונה. הנחת היסוד שלי היא שבכל דבר ישנה אנרגיה ובמטבעות פי כמה וכמה. אנרגיה הזורמת מהן ואליהן וכמו כל אנרגיה היא מביאה בסופו של דבר לאיזון.
זו בעיניי הולכת ומתעצמת, בעקבות חילופי ידיים בקצב, לאנרגיה עוצמות רבות , יכולה היא להרעיד עולמות ולשנות סדרי עולם.

"Musings of my heart"

“All is foreseen, and freedom of choice is granted.” This widely discussed philosophical statement has occupied scholars from all over the world for centuries. Attributed to one of the greatest sages of all time, Rabi Akiva, and taken from Pirkey Avot, 3:15, this seemingly simple adage proclaims far more content than can be captured in a single outline. Due to its complex interpretations and the scope of this article, I would only like to intrigue you by presenting my own take on this saying. Simply, I ask, does one have control over his/her set of beliefs and destiny in the world? Does anyone truly have the ability to control or change his/her fortune? Who holds the power that actually dictates our decisions and our future? Is there a greater power somewhere that has everything planned and arranged for each and every one of us?

During my travels throughout the world, I have always contemplated these questions. I have created guidelines for myself that guide me in my life’s journey, provide me with strength, and lead me to my own fulfillment. No matter where I travel, or what I encounter, I ask the universe for the following three things: To help me attract good people to accompany me along my journey, to guide me with a burning torch that will always illuminate my way, and to grant me the power and wisdom to understand the signs that the universe sends me.

I have visited many countries that were fundamentally different from one another. Each place presented different colors, cultures and people with unique “flavors”,traditions and religions. Each place presented different opportunities. Through my travels, I was presented great challenges, and facing them led me to my own realizations that I would like to share with you.

A turning point came in 2009; after many prayers, many days of simply wandering and experimenting, and many months of travel, I finally realized my own dream. Only God, the universe, and the ones closest to me know how difficult this dream was for me in its incipient stages. There were times when I almost gave up completely, when I felt as if I was drowning, but I never lost hope. The words of author, Paulo Coelho, “When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream,” always echoed in my head and were my inspiration. In 2009 I realized that what I wanted to do most was create jewelry from coins that I’ve collected along my journeys around the world, and I believed that the universe would conspire to help me make this dream come true.

This is one of the few things I’ve explored and experimented with that has continued to excite me more and more each day. Unlike some of my other interests, my passion for world coins has never faded. I feel in love with these intricate, decorated circular pieces of metal and decided to turn them into jewelry that can be worn and adored by many. Since the first coins were minted by the King of Lydia around the year, 640 BC, they have held such great power. You can trade them, use them in exchange for goods, and their value changes from moment to moment. Coins are full of endless stories; touching on so many subjects that exist in the human world, they combine amazing art with political history, human dreams, landscapes, animals and more.

The Greek philosopher, Heraclitus, said that a person does not enter the same river twice. During the second entry, the river has already changed. It might be the same water from the first entry, but not exactly the same drops of water. The person changes as well; this person is very similar to the person who entered the first time, but something has changed in both body and mind. When I look at my coins, I see each of them as something new and different, and I see myself evolve as a person as I continue working with them. Every time I work with coins I get excited. I get excited about the possibility that this coin could end up on someone’s neck, ear or finger. It simply thrills me and I’m thankful for my discovery and the realization of my dream.

I think that everything in our universe contains a certain kind of energy—both the energy that we commonly associate with the physical world as well as an energy that transcends beyond the realm of science. I believe that coins carry a powerful, unique energy. Due to their nature, the way they are exchanged, their essence as a valuable global trading instrument, and their metallic composition, they possess a certain energy that passes through them endlessly, striving to reach equilibrium. Combined, the physical and metaphysical energies are without a doubt the great powers that will shake and dictate the world orders that are presumably held within the opening phrase of “all is foreseen, and freedom of choice is granted.”
